Join the New York City Chapter of the Society of Financial Service Professionals for the 29th Annual Lurie-Todorovich Memorial Lecture.  The lecture has been renamed “Lurie-Todorovich” in honor of the late Alvin (“Al”) Lurie who was a beloved and valued contributor to the New York planning community for decades.

Ed Slott, CPA, “America’s IRA Expert”
Ed Slott’s “Retirement Road Map,” a widely viewed PBS special, contains some of the best ideas for the use of insurance products in retirement planning. You will not want to miss Ed’s talk as he explains how you can help your clients move from “forever taxed to never taxed” in retirement.

Martin Shenkman, JD, MBA, CPA, PFS, AEP (distinguished)
Marty is on the editorial board for Trust and Estates and has authored more than 800 articles addressing various aspects of estate planning; he is a nationally known and well-regarded attorney. Marty will be covering three topics: 1) The Use of Spousal Lifetime Access Trusts for Estate and Special Needs Planning; 2) Planning for Chronic Illness; and 3) Highlights from Heckerling.

Dr. Sandra Timmerman
Sandy is a gerontologist with a great deal of experience in the life insurance industry. She led the “Institute on Aging” for a major U.S. insurance company for many years. She is currently on the faculty of the American College. Sandy will speak about emerging trends in longevity and how they will impact the planning process for retirement and change the way we think about adulthood. ___________________________________________________________________________
